Dr. Dean Wright is the Chief Executive Officer at the Canadian Chiropractic Protective Association (CCPA). In this respect, Dr. Wright manages a wide array of professional negligence and licensing authority matters on behalf of CCPA members. He is also a resource to members seeking advice on practice and risk management matters. He has served on a number of boards and councils, including the Ontario Chiropractic Association, the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board, CMCC Research and Ethics Board, CMCC students’ council and the Canadian Chiropractic Guidelines Task Force.
Shannon DeLenardo
CLHIA Director, Anti-Fraud and Electronic Claims
Shannon is Director, Anti-Fraud and Electronic Claims with the Canadian Life and Health Insurance Association (CLHIA), a voluntary trade association with member companies that account for 99 percent of Canada's life and health insurance business. She is responsible for building consensus on concerns important to member companies and for leading industry committees, working groups and projects related to the mitigation of benefits fraud, and electronic claims management.
Shannon has held positions in Compliance, Regulatory Affairs, and Privacy with CAA Club Group and Orion Travel Insurance. She has also held roles at Assurant Solutions including Director of Compliance and Director of Human Resources.
Shannon est directrice des mesures antifraudes et des demandes en ligne à l’Association canadienne des compagnies d’assurances de personnes (ACCAP), une association bénévole dont les sociétés membres représentent 99 % des activités d’assurance-vie et d’assurance-maladie au Canada. Elle est responsable non seulement d’établir un consensus sur les questions qui sont pertinentes pour les sociétés membres, mais aussi de diriger les comités de l’industrie, les groupes de travail et les projets liés à la réduction des réclamations frauduleuses et à la gestion des demandes en ligne.

Caroline Brereton
OCA CEO
Caroline began her career in Ontario in 1987. She delivered direct care as a registered nurse and a midwife in her early career. She has contributed to the delivery of quality health care in Ontario in a range of executive leadership roles across the acute and community care continuum. She led the implementation of the University of Toronto’s Mississauga Medical Academy and the complex Shared Service West Organization transformation. In addition to her clinical and leadership experiences, Caroline holds an MBA from Queen's University and is a graduate of the Rotman Advanced Health Leadership Program. Since joining the OCA in June 2018, Caroline has been focused on building relationships with all partners that impact Chiropractors and their patients in Ontario, ensuring that the Association is making a difference for members and supporting others in their accountabilities to the profession.

Jon is the author of Now Start With Who, a TEDx speaker, husband to Hayley, and father to three daughters. Jon is proud to serve Canadian chiropractors and is an avid Vanouver Canucks fan.
Dr. Debbie Wright, DC
Dr. Debbie Wright obtained her Bachelors of Science (Kinesiology) at Simon Fraser University, where she was a member of the varsity swimming team. She then attended and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto. Dr. Wright is a current managing partner of The Grove Health and Wellness, a multi-disciplinary collaborative care clinic located in Courtenay on Vancouver Island, BC.
