Instructors

Dr. Christian Manansala, DC

A 2015 Graduate of Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and McMaster University (contemporary medical acupuncture) Dr. Manansala has been practicing chiropractic for the last several years at The Wellness Institute - Seven Oaks General Hospital. Recently Dr. Manansala joined an interdisciplinary clinic in the west end of Winnipeg, Sun Chiropractic, where he works with CCA vice-chair Dr. Russell Baron.

Dr. Gerald Olin, DC

Dr. Gerald Olin obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in 1993 from the University of Winnipeg and then moved on to graduate from Northwestern College of Chiropractic in 1997, as a Doctor of Chiropractic. He is owner and operator of T.E.A.M. Chiropractic along with his wife, Dr. Kerri Brooker. He is the team chiropractor for both the Winnipeg Blue Bombers Football Club (CFL) since 2006 and the Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club (NHL) since 2011. Dr. Olin is also the team chiropractor Manitoba Moose (AHL), Valour FC (CPL soccer), and the Winnipeg Ice (WHL). Dr. Olin has been very active serving his profession; he is currently on the Canadian Chiropractic Protective Association board since 2022. Dr. Olin was chair of the Canadian Chiropractic Association board from 2018 to 2020 and served 9 years on the CCA board. He was also a member of the Canadian Chiropractic Examining Board for eight years, having served as chair for 3 years. He has also served locally on many committees of the Manitoba Chiropractors Association (MCA). Some of his work included chairing the Standards Committee, Government Relations Committee and he currently serves on the Negotiations Committee, Child and Family Services Committee, and MCA Liaison for Mount Carmel Clinic Chiropractic Project.

Dr. Michael Edgar, DC, FRCCSS(C)

Dr. Michael Edgar is a 2nd year medical student and chiropractor. He graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in 2019, then went on to complete the CMCC sports sciences graduate program in 2021. After this, Michael began medical school at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He is also the founder of an online coaching company focused on nutrition and training. His interest in musculoskeletal health primarily revolves around active rehabilitation techniques through exercise.
