- 81-year-old male with acute right hip and thigh pain after slipped in bathtub (2020) – What happens when rely on previous x-ray report instead of re-examining the patient.
- 47-year-old male with 10 plus years of neck and low back pain with progression over last 2 years (2018) – How questioning the x-ray report led to the proper diagnosis and plan of management.
- 42-year-old male with 4.5 months of mid thoracic pain after a basketball jump (2015) - Re-examination of a patient included a review of his imaging saved the patient’s life.

Dr. Bill Hsu, DC, DACBR, FCCR(C)
Dr. Bill Hsu is an Associate Professor and Faculty Radiologist in the Division of Clinical Education at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC). He was previously President of the Chiropractic College of Radiologists of Canada and was later an Assistant Professor at D’Youville College in Buffalo, NY. After earning his undergraduate degree in biochemistry and a Doctor of Chiropractic at CMCC, he pursued and completed FCCR and DACBR certifications. Dr. Hsu’s research focuses on clinical indications for imaging and clinical presentation of various musculoskeletal entities. He has contributed articles to the Journal of the American Chiropractic Association, Journal of the Canadian Chiropractic Association, the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics and several other academic journals and books.
