Dr. Ayla Azad, DC, MBA

CCA CEO

Dr. Azad graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic (USA) and completed her Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) degree from Athabasca University. Dr. Azad was in private practice at Total Rehab, a multi-disciplinary rehab clinic in Ajax, Ontario from 1999 to 2020. During that time, she was also teaching at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in the Chiropractic Therapeutics, Principles and Practice and Clinical Education Departments. Dr. Azad has served on the Board of Directors of the Ontario Chiropractic Association, serving as President and Chair of the Board from 2015 to 2017, and has served on the Board for the Canadian Chiropractic Research Foundation and the World Federation of Chiropractic. Dr. Azad began working at the Canadian Chiropractic Association, in 2020 and is currently the Chief Executive Officer.

Dr. Matthew Williams, DC

CCA Board Director, New Brunswick

Dr. Matthew Williams was born and raised in Fredericton, New Brunswick. He grew up playing hockey, golf, and weightlifting. He went to the University of New Brunswick (UNB) for his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and then to the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) where he graduated summa cum laude with clinic honours. When he returned to Fredericton, he and his wife opened Williams Chiropractic in 2015. Matt has since earned his Masters of Science in Exercise and Sport Sciences at UNB with his thesis in golf biomechanics. Matt is also a Sport Specialist Chiropractor as a Fellow of the Royal College of Chiropractic Sports Sciences Canada. In addition to his clinical roles, Matt is also a CCA board member and is passionate about clinic optimization, personal finance and real estate.

The short answer is no. Although it may have clinical relevance, a certificate will not be issued for the CCA podcast series due to the nature of the offering. 

However, we encourage you to confirm the CE eligibility with your provincial regulator as this varies from province to province.

With over a decade of experience in accounting and tax services, Evan Feldstein specializes in Canadian tax planning and compliance for business transactions, corporate reorganizations, and estate and succession planning. He works closely with owner-managed businesses and high-net-worth individuals to develop strategic solutions for personal and corporate tax structuring, tax minimization, and the purchase or sale of a business. Evan has advised clients across a diverse range of industries, including automotive dealerships, real estate and investment companies, distributors, dental practices, law firms, and pharmacies.
