Instructors

Dr. Maathavan Thillai, DC, C Ped Tech, BSc(hons)

Dr. Maat received his Doctorate of Chiropractic from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in Toronto in 2016. In order to broaden his lower extremity (hip, knee, ankle & foot) assessment, diagnosis and treatment skills, Dr. Thillai has also completed his Certified Pedorthic Technician designation (C Ped. Tech) dealing with lower limb care including custom-made orthotics and knee and ankle bracing. Dr. Thillai is an advocate for interdisciplinary health care and uses evidence-based practices in managing his patients across his four active GTA practices. He works in conjunction with the treating clinicians and therapists to provide their patients with orthopedic product assessment and education to aid in optimizing patient health and to facilitate normal movement and function of the body’s muscles and joints.

Gary Askin

As the Assistant Vice President Gary Askin provides strategic direction and day to day leadership to the Fraud Risk Management function across Canadian customer service processes, to develop detection, prevention and investigation capabilities.
Gary has been with Sun Life since September 2014 and has brought 33 years of experience from his former role as a Commander of Strategic and Tactical services with the Waterloo Regional Police Service-where he investigated and lead drug, organized crime, terrorism, intelligence and hate crime teams and investigations.

Holly Vincent

Consumer & Commercial Optimization Manager, Green Shield Canada

Holly Vincent is the Manager of Consumer & Commercial Optimization at Green Shield Canada (GSC). She has been with GSC for 14 years, holding a number of different positions throughout the organization. She started as a Client Service Representative within Growth and Client Services, and then moved into leadership roles both within Contact Centre Services and Claims. She is based out of the Windsor, Ontario GSC office. Holly graduated from St. Clair College with a diploma in Registered Practical Nursing.
